Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

I’m grateful we don’t have East Coast weather!

This is just the very beginning of winter here. At least we didn’t get the mega snowfall they got in other places, but it’s very cold and I suspect we’ll be getting snow by the end of this week. Hopefully not a lot!

The Farmall appears to be in good condition, Cee. I can just remember Dad’s. The red makes your photo pop.

Lovely and colourful! Here the weather turned milder and the snow has melted (again) leaving a layer of ice over everything. Reading about the bad weather over at your side of the ocean – hoping everyone are doing OK.

Me living in the far northwest, we are pretty well protected. We did get some ice and subfreezing temps, but not like most of our country. We are safe and doing well. Thanks Maria 😀 😀

What an interesting photo, Cee. Where was it taken? It looks like they’ve made their old tractor into one large flower pot!!! They’ve been doing this locally as well. One new vivero raised an old fire engine far up in the air so it forms an arch over their entrance. No flowers in it, though. Too far up to water, I guess.

I’d love to see the fire engine. It’s such a cool idea. I took that photo at a local farm that has a great general store and plant nursery. 😀 😀
