Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). Please use your archived photos or find some old favorite photos if you like. Feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.
Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers. To see entire list of accepted flowers, click here. Please do not submit photos of trees that don’t show colorful blooms or autumn colors. Leaf close ups are always welcome.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Lovely dahlia Cee. I’m hoping to finally get around to planting a few seeds this week. It’s early but I’m hoping to have blooming size to put in the ground in late April.

The small variety, hopefully I’ll have a bunch to plant out. If not…will buy them as usual. The ones with the double fringe/different color around the centers are sometimes hard to find. I’m hoping for good luck with them.

The fancier dahlia are actually tubers. Some of the smaller more simplier dahlias are from seeds or tubers. 😀

I envy your dahlias! I bought two last year: one I put in the ground, that died right away. The other I grew in a container, it died last fall.
