Here is my entry for Anne of Lens-Artists Photo Challenge. This week Anne wants us to show off a lens we use for our walks or photo shoots. I’m choosing two lenes.
This first lens I will use when I’m at flower fields. It’s my Sony FE 70-200 F4G OSS lens. It’s my best lens and I love the natural bokeh it delivers. Here are a few photos I took the last time I was at the peony gardens.
My Sony E-Mount 18-200 lens is my typical go to lens. I took it to Yaquina Head Lighthouse National Park that day before Oregon shut down for Covid back in March of 2020. Here are a few photos from there.

Beautiful images from both lenses Cee – obviously the talent is the photographer not the equipment!! I truly miss my Nikon 70-200 which was wonderful but just got too heavy for me to carry. The bokeh was marvelous, and your images with your Sony remind me very much of why I so miss it!

Gorgeous shots. I don’t understand the numbers with the lenses but I can work out their merits from your photos. I agree with Anne, though, that you are behind each lens, with your skill.

Stunning captures at both the Peony Gardens and Yaquina Head. It think this challenge has been interesting to see lens preferences. I loved the beach photo. Great places to walk your walk, Cee.

I’m so intrigued by lighthouses too. I’ve actually walked up that one. It is the tallest lighthouse in Oregon. 😀 😀

You just have to learn how close you can get and be able to zoom all the way in. It all depends on the lens. Have fun experimenting. 😀

Beautiful images for this challenge Cee! Both lenses are great. With your 70 – 200 mm you don’t need a dedicated macro lens. And your 18 – 200 mm is a great walk around lens. Of course you are behind the camera!

Nope macro needed. I only have one true macro lens and I don’t use it that often. This 70-200 lens was an expensive lense, but oh so worth it. I can actually take 200mm at about 3 feet away, which makes for a wonderful macro.
