This is my entry for Pensitivity101 hosts Share Your World and here is my response for the week.
Do you consider yourself to be romantic? Perhaps in little ways, but for the most part I don’t think I am. It’s those small glances with Chris or when we start saying the same thing at the same time that to me shows our unique connection with each other. It’s the love that is shared together.
Do you send cards on Valentine’s Day? I know you’ve heard me say on my blog that we don’t celebrate holidays, because every day to us is a holiday. So, no, I don’t send cards nor do I expect cards.
Would you spend a considerable amount of money on a single red rose for your beloved? Red roses no. Neither one of us is that fond of roses. Would I spend money on carnations for Chris or perhaps a single yellow rose. Yes. She’d probably prefer an extremely decadent coconut cream pie. I’m the flower girl in the family.
What is your idea of a romantic evening? The other night we watched the movie, American President. It is one Chris’s favorite movies. We know the movie so well we can almost say the entire script to each other. We know when to laugh and our reactions. It’s always a fun time together.
Gratitude: You are so right, love it all around. We just have to be in a space to see it and feel it.
