This is my entry for Di at Pensitivity101 hosts Share Your World and here is my response for the week.
- When food shopping, do you go with a list and stick to it, or buy on the hop? I hardly ever go to the grocery store. It’s all delivered. And if Chris goes to our local market, there are certain given items she gets.
- When clothes shopping, do you prefer to shop in a store or buy mail order? Normal clothes don’t fit me. So I always shop online. I’m not a fancy dresser by any stretch of the imagination. When Lipedema wasn’t so bad, I would dress much nicer.
- Do you like shopping for shoes? No, definitely not. I was crippled as a kid and my walking stance and balance has always been weird. So fancy shoes are out. I found a brand of shoes that I can wear which don’t hurt my feet. They are made for wide feet and are made to go barefeet. So once again, I shop online.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Thanks for joining in Cee. I prefer to buy clothes by mail order, but these days live in men’s joggers and tees as they fit and are generous where it counts!! I can go into Primark and buy exactly what I want for a fraction of the price elsewhere and know it will fit. Have a great week.

A very practical and common-sense approach, which is a win- win I think.

When I was heavier, I shopped on line so I wouldn’t have to try to find the ONE pair of pants that actually fit me. As for shoes, I had a few kinds of shoes that always fit, but recently they changed whoever manufactures them — probably moving to China with all the rest of the clothing makers. So now, I buy through Zappos where if they don’t fit, they will always take them back. Mostly, around the house (where I am most of the time), I wear socks, not shoes. I don’t like shoes. They hurt.

I started having groceries delivered at the beginning of Covid and there’s no going back!

I started getting groceries delivered when David got sick and couldn’t drive any more I would hate to do a full fortnightly shop at the supermarket now. It takes so long, people stand around talking and blocking aisles. I have no idea how much I’m spending and then you have to lug it all home. No thanks.
