Feb 27 – Share Your World

This is my entry for Di at Pensitivity101 hosts Share Your World and here is my response for the week.

  1.  Did you attend Sunday School at your local church as a child? No. We had CCD classes one day after school during the week.
  2.  Did you attend after school classes ie. drama, sports, as a teenager? No after school classes.
  3.  Did you go to evening classes after you had left school? In high school, I took a couple college evening classses.
  4.  Do you now belong to any groups/meetings (ie WI, single (not dating), young Mums, slimming clubs, young wives, Men’s hobbies ) No, I’m boring aren’t I. I did belong to some zoom chat sessions through my blog. That was fun.

Gratitude

I am so grateful that Chris’s emergency surgery last week ended up good. She is doing real well. I will most likely do an update for everyone in a couple days. No she won’t be coming home soon, but she may be well enough to be transferred to rehab.

Chris took this photo of me and I created this “pick me up” a few years back. I need these words right now.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. That’s good to hear Cee. When you have a moment, could you consider adding my nature photo challenge to your list please? I put all the details in a comment, I think on the challenge page. No rush, you have plenty on your plate.

      • Coco always sleeps with me but often Zoe sleeps in her soft bed near my bed. In the morning she stands on her hind leg and begs to be lifted up. Then she burrows like a little mole under my neck between my head and pillow and through my hair to the other side. They can be active little pests in their enthusiasm to greet the day and get together again, but I agree with you. Such a joy to have their presence.

  2. I’m glad to hear that Chris is doing well. I know you will miss her while she is in rehab but at least she will be in better shape when she gets home. Is it close enough for you to visit everyday?
Take care of yourself, the time will pass before you know it.

    • Thanks Judy.
      from the web:
The Confraternity of Christian Doctrine was an association established at Rome in 1562 for the purpose of providing religious education. Today CCD refers to a religious education program of the Catholic Church, normally designed for children.
