Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). Please use your archived photos or find some old favorite photos if you like. Feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.

Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers. To see entire list of accepted flowers, click here. Please do not submit photos of trees that don’t show colorful blooms or autumn colors. Leaf close ups are always welcome.

And finally, the crocus are up. They aren’t IN the garden but have somehow moved from the garden bed to the area in front of the retaining stones. How they moved is anyone’s guess. I think they look very fetching in front of the big granite stones. Our day lilies are beginning to green up as are the daffodils. So we shall have spring — until the kudzu attacks everything.

Someone wrote in with the name of my mystery plant. It is a variety of kalanchoe named Mother of Thousands!!! How appropriate is that?

She is home and doing well. Getting a little bit better every day. She still needs a lot of care though. Thanks Amy for asking 😀

Hi Xenia, we are holding on. Chris is getting better by the day. She only takes a nap for a couple of hours a day now. She still has a long way to go to be even semi-independent again though. 😀 😀
