FOTD – April 8 – Daffodil

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  Please use your archived photos or find some old favorite photos if you like. Feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.

Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers. To see entire list of accepted flowers, click here. Please do not submit photos of trees that don’t show colorful blooms or autumn colors.  Leaf close ups are always welcome.

For the Love of Challenges

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

      • We’ve been having lovely warm days but the nights are quite cold. Great sleeping weather, but too early for planting. They keep warning us on the weather reports to not plant quite yet. Only the late winter plants can deal with night this cold — crocus (now past), daffodils, and forsythia. THEN come the tulips and after that, rhododendrons, hedge roses, and day lilies. In between are wildflowers. I suspect the Solomen’s Seal are gearing up right now because they are very early bloomers too. And violets, of course.
