Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  Please use your archived photos or find some old favorite photos if you like. Feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. 

Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers. To see entire list of accepted flowers, click here. Please do not submit photos of trees that don’t show colorful blooms or autumn colors.  Leaf close ups are always welcome.

  3. Your dahlias always brighten my day and a bright yellow one is most particularly cheerful.

    I have more pictures than I know what to do with. I have a major dental procedure tomorrow, so I may post two of these because after they finish grinding down my teeth tomorrow, I have a feeling I’m not going to feel much like writing.

      • Thanks. In the end, they felt I was not well enough to sit through several hours of grinding so Garry had another four of his cavities filled. He couldn’t hear them when they asked him if he would like gas in addition to Novocaine and he always nods even when he doesn’t hear you, so they gassed him and he came home for a LONG nap. I had to drive because he could barely make it to the car, much less drive it. Only 3 more cavities to fill. In his entire life until this year, he NEVER had a cavity. He made up for it this year.
