Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). Please use your archived photos or find some old favorite photos if you like. Feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.
Remember my allium bud from both May 11 and May 13. Here it is two days later. This first photo was taken at the same angle, except the photo I’m a little close to it. The second photo was taken at a different angle and is showing a new bud that is starting to open.

Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers. To see entire list of accepted flowers, click here. Please do not submit photos of trees that don’t show colorful blooms or autumn colors. Leaf close ups are always welcome.
For the Love of Challenges
I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

That bloom still has more to bloom out. They end up with a perfect circle 😀

I have always loved allium, especially the really BIG ones. I planted a bunch of them, but sadly, they were eaten by something. Deer? Squirrels? Regardless, they and many other flowers have been eaten and do not seem to be reappearing.
But I love them. They are so unusual and so architectural. They almost don’t look real. That purple is a great color.

This is the first time I’m growing the big ones. So far I’m pleased with them. 😀

I like the second one too. But I wanted to keep the same angle for the comparison. 😀 😀

Your photos make me want to sing, as have the recent Morning Glory flowers on my rooftop terrace garden. https://casita-colibri.blog/2023/05/16/whats-the-story-morning-glory-2/
