you manage to capture the most amazing bird shots, Cee! Do you have a super duper lens or a secret or two up your sleeve? I’d love some tips.

I’ve got a super cool camera and my lenses are 200 or 300. I still want to get a 600 lens, but that is still out of my budget range (sort of). I get a mid range lens so it’s a little pricey, but not as much as the real expensive ones. 😀 😀 With longer lenses, birds tend to not notice you as much. My other secret is just be patient and take lots of photos. You are apt to get a couple good ones.
Feel free to contact me https://ceenphotography.com/contact/ I can maybe help you out some

Lovely shots Cee. The place is called Rhododendron Park, does that mean there are lots of Rhododendron trees there?

The place does have a lot of Rhododendrons both the tree like and shorter ones. 😀

Photogenic they may be – but fishers don’t like them. But I’m always happy if I see one.

Bald eagles are more posers….. but these do come in second that’s for sure 😀 😀

Bald eagles are way out of my lens capacity.

Great closeups! I’ve never seen white markings on cormorants out this way. They have always been solid black, or at least appeared that way.

They look real dark in the distance. It all depends on how the sun is shining. Plus, as you know, different parts of the country can be different too 😀

Even when they are the same species, there are often color differences by territory. This is true of squirrels, too.
