Here is my entry for Algeria from the Life with Alegria Happiness Project.
This week Alegria’s happiness project is all about holding hands. Holding hands is a wonderful gift to share. Our hands give off an incredible amount of healing and loving energy especially when we care about the person we are holding hands with. I happen to be an hands-on energy healer. My hands and the energy they project mean a lot to me. That’s why massage and Reiki can be so relaxing, healing and calming.
When Chris was in the hospital, I was unable to be there at her bedside. My biggest desire was to just sit next to her bed and hold her hand so she’d know I was there for her no matter what. She has told me repeatedly that she felt me holding her hand when she was in the hospital. There is hardly a night when we watch TV we don’t hold each other’s hands. And that has been true since we’ve been together and since 1990.

I absolutely love this Cee! The human touch is beautifully healing. And there are many therapies that incorporate touch, as you mentioned. There is nothing like holding the hand of a loved one, to enable healing. How blessed Chris is to have you. 💕🌸
