Trees always make such interesting subjects, don’t they? I love the colour in the third photo.

I love the composition of the cherry log and the saw. You have a wonderful group here, Cee. I hope to join this challenge again on the last day.

When we camped all the time, I used to love sawing wood. So when logs are too big for our woodstove, it’s fun to get out my saw again. Hope you can join along, I enjoy your entries 😀

I have so much gorgeous weathered wood around me when at the beach and is a favorite of mine to photograph. The colorful movement is what captures my eye.

Before I looked at what you published, I figured the wood had to have been made into something, so that’s what I used. But that’s why I post first and look second, so I’m not influenced by what you (or anyone) did.
I love your old trees. They are absolutely very weathered.
We have a lot of weathered — and possibly sick — trees. We are looking for someone to take down branches since our antenna which we only put up last summer, has gone missing the all those new branches. Now that we have rain, everything is growing like CRAZY.

It took a hard hit during the drought and hasn’t quite recovered. It takes more than a rainy spring to set the ecology back to rights.
