Your dahlias always make me want to grow them. We probably could now that it is warmer but the ground is sodden from endless rain. It is officially the most rain during this past year in more than 200 years of recording in Massachusetts. It’s too soggy to plant anything. The farmers must be going bonkers.

I always think the same. I haven’t had Dahlias for a few years.

Your growing season is too short for dahlias. They normally aren’t planted until the end of May. Ours don’t come into season until early September. And they thrive until it freezes. Your first frost comes much sooner than ours.
