FOTD – Flower of the Day

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge better known now as FOTD.

Note: From now on, my Saturday and Sunday posts will be combined into one post Weekend FOTD. Please feel free to post one day or two days.

This challenge is all about bringing a little beauty and color into our daily lives.

Feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  You can either post new flower photos or dig back into your archives.

Depending on the time of year, you can post any of these types of things for your FOTD.

  • Single flowers
  • Buds
  • Multiple flowers
  • Bouquet
  • Flower fields
  • Wildflowers
  • Tree blossoms
  • Bush blossoms
  • Autumn leaves
  • Spring leaves
  • Decorative Cabbage
  • Berries
  • Still life
  • Fake or Silk Flowers

Please do not submit photos of trees that don’t show colorful blooms or autumn colors.  Leaf close ups are always welcome.

  5. I was planting Willow tree branch cuttings this weekend with a friend and saw a gelatinous substance on one of them. It is fascinating and I got a good photo. Would that fit for your challenge? There happens to be a tiny bud on the branch but that wouldn’t be the main focus.
