Here is my entry for Travel Theme’s challenge with the subject of center. I decided to be very typically me and use flowers for my photos.
Bashful Dahlia
An azalea from my front yard. I decided to center the little leaf.
Tulip from earlier this spring from my yard.
Qi (energy) hugs
Cee
Spectacular macros – especially number 1! The flower is centered as well as the bee!

Very nice Close-up/macro work Cee. Do you have a dedicated macro lens or are you using extension tubes or close-up filters? You might even be just cropping in post processing. In any event they are beautiful photos we’ve come to expect from you.

I do have a macro lens which I use sometimes. Otherwise it is just my 18-200. My new Sony camera actually lets me get right up to about a foot with the full extension. I love it.

I loved my Sony NEX-5N mirrorless that got me started in the genre. Which Sony do you own?

It is a Sony A7II Mirrorless Full Frame Camera. It just came out at the end of 2014. I love it.

I am fascinated with the interesting structures in the center of flowers so I think flowers were a great choice for this challenge!
