Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge: Danger

Here is my entry for this week’s Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge with the topic of Danger.  ENJOY.  I can’t think of anything more fun than signs that warn of danger.

This sign I took 15 years ago at Mt Lassen Volcano, California.

This sign and trash can was added to our beaches after the Japan tsunami. The debris was dangerous for a couple of reasons, fall out from the nuclear plant and germs our coast usually doesn’t have.  This sign was photographed at D River Beach in Lincoln City, Oregon.

This photo was is located near the old paper plant in Oregon City, Oregon.

  1. I try to avoid danger so I don’t have anything for this challenge. Thankfully. Your signs are a reminder of how interconnected we all are and that what we do can and will affect the rest of the planet, something the dismantlers of the E.P.A. will never understand.

    • Thanks Emilio for commenting. The Tsunami signs were something. They actually found huge chunks of piers and other big things from Japan on our coastline.

  2. Spot on! (And I am wondering why am I always look for angles and sun and shadows for taking pics. Never thought Danger-ous pics would come handy 😀 )
