Since the month of January is the beginning of a new year, I thought I would try and post various buds for this month.

It won’t be long before the flowers are out.

Beautiful. The flower buds look like hands with their fingers held together in some form of meditation.

That’s a lovely shade and the details are amazing. Here’s mine: https://shutterbuglady.wordpress.com/2018/01/05/flower-of-the-day-crown-of-thorns/

This looks just like an African Tulip Tree bloom about to burst forth!

😀 😀 I do know it’s not an African Tulip bloom. Would be wonderful it was though.

Sorry.. I didn’t mean to say that it was. Was just interested that they look exactly the same. I’ll try to find a pic of one to send.

Enthralling shot Cee, full of dramatic effect! Most unusual capture of a plant i have seen often, but never like this. 🙂

It’s either an azalea or rhodie. I took it at a park that features both plants and their fancier varieties unless totally bloomed out, I can’t always tell the difference.

Wow Cee, your azalea is really warm orange. I haven’t seen this color to azalea before. Here we only see them in while and different pink colors. I would love one in orange.

We have more than pink out here. 😀

It’s either an azalea or rhododendron. I go to a rhododendron park where they have some fancy colors in both azaleas and bodies.
