I’m definitely on a yellow kick right now.

It’s been a while since I’ve been on WordPress. I see that The Daily Post is no longer posting challenges 😦 I’m starting back up, small at first, but here I am! https://kellyschadtkelly.com/2018/07/18/flower-of-the-day-hibiscus/ nothing says summer to me like a huge Hibiscus!

Hi Kelly, welcome back. I’ve fixed your link, it wasn’t working. You are correct WoPress is no longer doing the daily post. So I’ve started a list of current challenges. You may want to check it out from time to time. https://ceenphotography.com/for-the-love-of-challenges/

Your yellow kick is glorious! I had no idea that witch hazel was as interesting and intricate as that, in fact I had imagined it to be something small and green.
I haven’t really posted any flowers on your daily posts but I wanted to share one I took today with my new camera, just because I can. Here’s the link …. https://lifeamazing.net/2018/07/18/a-bit-of-a-photo-tale-plus-flower-of-the-day/

I don’t really know Witch Hazel so had a look for the gernan word. The call it “Zaubernusse” meaning magic nut and is probably because it flowers in Winter and the flowers remain for a few weeks – an interesting flower.

I took this photo a few years ago at a nursery. I haven’t seen it since, but then I don’t go to nurseries that often anymore except at pumpkin season, 😀

Wow! Didn’t know that witch hazel is a flower.
I always thought that it was a liquid that you purchased from the pharmacy or grocery store.
