It’s approaching the time of year where I do either red or white flowers. Hope you enjoy.
I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

They grow happily outside here in the Algarve, growing to the size of a tree 😁.

That is so hard for me to imagine and picture. Although I’ve seen photos of them that large.

Good capture of the pointsettia’s actual flower buds. I love these plants for Christmas, but have not yet bought one, am thinking about it. I still have my poinsettia from last year, although no longer coloured leaves, but it is still growing. Mr. Swiss said I should buy one this year, so I am thinking about it.

I’ve just got mine for Christmas, and then remembered I’m away for two weeks. Really hoping it won’t die whilst I’m away.

Great picture Cee. I love how you’ve focussed on the buds – I’ve tried a few shots myself but have been struggling to know where to focus.

Beautiful photo! I have some poinsettias that I kept from last year. They are so lush and pretty, but only one of them has a slight tinge of red. I’m gonna have to research how to get them to bloom again.

I’ve never been able too, not that I’ve tried much, or recently. 😀

I love the colour of these poinsettia! 🙂 Beautiful capture of the buds.
I’ve managed to keep 2 for 4 years now but my white one did not last the year. 😦 They flower in July here and have just finished shedding their bracts .

I think in all the years I had poinsettias as plants, I only kept a couple alive for more than one season. 😀

Yours look so healthy. I’ve had really bad luck with poinsettias. I buy them and within a couple of days, all the leaves just drop off. I have to wonder who raised them.

I’ve not bought a poinsettia in years … not since we’ve had pets. These are all from the nurseries.
