Here is my entry for Terri Webster Schrandt’s, Sunday Stills Challenge with the topic of Wishing for Water, But #Droplets Will Do.
I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Hi Cee, I love your take on Sunday Stills. Did you spray the flowers? They look fabulous. I hope we both get some rain soon. Our fires won’t stop until we do. Stay safe. Glad you’re back home.

No I never spray my flowers. We just get that much rain here.
We are back to stagnant air, so our air quality isn’t too good. But still nothing compared to what it was. Hopefully Monday we will get a break.

The rain makes them look so luscious. I don’t remember getting much rain there in the summer. What you need is a good stiff breeze from the Columbia Gorge. 🙂

I need the winds to come from the west (Pacific) to clear our air here. That is normally the case. But we have a high sitting above us and the winds are calm that is what is giving us smoke again.

No wonder! Ours is 176 right now. I’m praying that we both get rain. Our roses at the garden look like something at a haunted house. Cobwebs, dust, aphids, dead leaves and Johnson grass mingled in one dusty bush.

Oh that is getting dangerously. I guess I don’t have to say “stay indoors if at all possible”.

True, but it’s not entirely possible.

I’m good with it in moderation. If I don’t have my rain jacket, I tend to catch a cold after being in the rain. 🤧

Oh I’m sorry you get colds from rain.

I’m gotten better and as long as I have my rain gear on, I’m good to go! Still couldn’t live in a place like Seattle though. 🙂

I live in Oregon and I wouldn’t move to Seattle. Their weather is so much worse than ours. 😀

I want to visit Oregon. I’d love to see some of the lighthouses and hike some of the parks out there. 🙂

Yep! We were supposed to be in Seattle this month but cancelled our trip in April after I lost my job. Thank goodness it worked out that way because it was super smoky the days we would have been there. We were going to Mt Rainer which my hubby has hiked everywhere there. I’ve never been out there. 😊

We are pretty smoky today here. The wind is so still ….

Gorgeous shots, Cee. Droplets are about all we get in Arizona and not many or for long. 🙂 So I really enjoyed these.

Oh, look at all those beautiful water droplets! No wonder the flowers look so happy! Thanks for linking with Sunday Stills, Cee. I read you are home again and I bet you are relieved. Still waiting for rain…maybe November!

We’ve had a couple inches of rain since I’ve been home. Today is a nice sunny day with blue skies. How lovely from a couple of weeks ago. The fires are still burning, but the winds are coming from the ocean which keeps my town clear. 😀

Thank goodness. We have dry north winds forcing PG&E to shut down power in various areas. We are OK since we are urban. But my dad’s power in the Sierra foothills is off…again! Sigh.
