One Word Sunday Challenge – History

Here is my entry for Debbie’s, Travel With Intent blog, One Word Sunday Challenge and her topic this week is History.

Oregon has a long history regarding lumbering its wealth of trees. I thought I would display some logging trucks from the early 1900s until now.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. I love the trucks, Cee. In Woodlake, we lived right off Millwood Road, named during the 1800s when they logged the Sequoia National Forest before it was protected.

  2. I don’t think that second truck is going to be doing much hauling. They sometimes log in the mountains in Wyoming where we have our cabin and then you might have to sit at the bottom or top or the mountain until the truck has passes. Only one road up and no room for that truck and any other vehicle!

    • Hi Margaret, no I haven’t read it. Unfortunately, I’m not a reader. I just don’t learn that way or enjoy it for relaxing. I’m all about visual and audio.
