Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts leaves and berries as well as flowers.
See more Flowers photos on my Pinterest page.
I took this photo on Sunday and it was cloudy and a little rainy. These little red tulips are always the first to bloom. The fields are now showing little pops of color.
I would appreciate you continuing to post your entries on my daily post entries. If you need more information here is a link to my FOTD page.
I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

I’d love to see a field full of tulips like that!

Oh Sandy, they are absolutely spectacular. I think tulip fields are the prettiest of fields. The colors and amount of tulips are stunning. I’m usually speachless. And I’ve been going since 2006 since I moved out here. 😀

So glad the fields are open this year!

Me too. They are honoring passes from last year. That gives me early morning and sunset hours. 😀 😀 there are fewer people especially at the sunset hours.

Fabulous, ours still have a long way to go.
btw I know you sprung forward at weekend with the clocks, but we don’t spring forward until end of the month. Means our Saturday chats will start an hour later for you, ie 9am your time equates to 4pm our time for the next two weeks

They planted the fields differently this year. They are several different layouts and lots of land, so they can rest the fields every year. This year, they are making real long rows so people can spread out more. Last year the fields were closed. So I’m so happy they are open. I’ll go for sure next week, but after that it just depends on how many people actually show up.

These are super early bloomers. Although the fields you can see a bulb here and there trying to bloom. The fields still need maybe three weeks to be a prime 😀
