CBWC: Faces in things

This week our topic is Faces in things. I will allow any type of face in this challenge, anything that someone drew, trees with faces, art, murals, cars with faces, flowers, animals or people faces.

Be creative if you feel like it, and fun with this challenge this week. Remember your photos needs to be black and white, desaturated, sepia (brown tones) or selective color.  I’m looking forward to seeing what you all come up.

Please note that I have started a series of Tips from Cee page. I posted several tips for black and white you may want to check out.

Feel free to take new photos or dig through your archives.  The main object of this challenge is to have fun

  1. Okay. You gave me an opening and I leapt right into it. For reasons best known to my husband, he asked me to take these pictures of Myron Healy in an old episode of Cheyenne (circa mid 1950s). He was one of those bad guy character actors whose face everyone knew, but whose name hardly anyone knew. They are today’s faces and they are definitely in black and white. I took the picture, but I took pictures of pictures, so I am not sure exactly how that counts in my repertoire, but at least these made me laugh. The first four captions are from the original show, but I added the last one. I had to replace the captions on a couple of photographs because they were not readable.

You got some pretty funny stuff in your own faces 🙂 There is something incredibly funny about the faces of geese. Especially in combination with their big, floppy orange feet.

  2. Orchids can have such expressive faces. The helmet hero in a fantasy novel. The old crown who is almost emaciated but can eat a whole ox in one sitting. … 😁
