ugh that sounds horrid – the areas around us have had so much rain these past few days. I know they’d love to send it your way. I’ll see what I can do.
I just hope governments, businesses and people wake up to the fact things have to change as otherwise wild weather will be the norm!
Did Chris come across the two houses in Hampshire that lost their rooves thanks to a lightening strike Friday night. I was telling Sue and Margaret in our zoom that they were only 16miles from me. The thunder and lightening Friday night never seemed to stop!
No we didn’t see that. She’s not been up on BBC. I knew most of the flooding was between you and Margaret so I wasn’t too worried about you guys. That’s scary close to you.
Yes fortunately missed the flooding, and we are on a hill too so even if there was flooding here we would be okay.
However here’s the news article about the lightning. And if you scroll through you will actually also see a shot of the lightning in Winchester that night – taken by a good friend of mine Mike. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-57952825

Oh we desperately need rain. We have to buy water, because of the algae in it. It is drinkable and safe, but it stinks……

I’ve seen that parts of England are flooding. This weather this year has been so wild.
