Goodbye my Friends and FOTD Followers

It is time for me to say goodbye to all of you. We have a had a lot of fun together. I so adored viewing and reading all your wonderful photos and posts. When I think of the times we communicated throughout the years, my heart and soul feels so happy and blessed. Most of you know that I am not that wordy in posts, that is partly why I blog with photos. I see pictures in my mind. You have all been extremely loving and carrying all through my blogging career. Especially this past couple months, many of you have said my blog and photography has touched your hearts. You all have touch mine as well.

I will be looking at my blog as often I can. My body is starting to shut down now and having the energy to blog is getting too much for me. Do keep in touch. Chris is planning on taking over FOTD (Flower Of The Day) in the near future and she’ll keep my blog open.

Thanks for all your blessings and fun times.

  7. When I started blogging, I had no idea how to go about it, how to get people interested in my photos, then I found the challenges. Yours was one of the first I joined, through your blog I started to find new blogs and a new blogging community. Thank you for that. Like you I have been mainly posted photos, just in few past years I have added more words into them. So I totally get that – but I have always admired your time given to commenting.

I am so sorry for your situation, but having lost so many people, I have to the conclusion that it’s life. It ends, but the the memories will live on, and I am sure you will be one of those often remembered. It has a been a joy to know you. ❤

You quick and kind comments seemed to appear as soon as I published a post and I shared them often with my husband Neal (NealEnjoy blog). May you have peace, may you have rest and may you have love in your days with us! Love Chris more!

  11. Cee, April 16th, 2013, was the first time you liked a post of mine. You will never know how much that ‘like’ encouraged me to continue in the blogosphere. I had commenced my blog with the idea of writing posts; however, seeing your blog posts and your photos was the encouragement I needed to keep posting, then my images as part of my post. Many thanks for your comments and friendship, Cee. I am certain Chris will take care of you and your blog.

  36. Cee, despite being thousands of miles apart, you have shown me how to see the world through the lens!

From my early days of blogging, your posts helped me not to just look what lies in front of my lens but to also feel it, touch it and wonder over it.

I’m more than just grateful to have you as blogging friend for so long.

As I’ve read what you have written above and writing these lines, my heart is more than just sad.

Goodbyes are always hard, especially the ones you have to say on the very last day of the year.

Words really can’t do justice to convey my gratitude for what you have done for me.

Every click of my camera will now be dedicated to you!

    • Dearest Hammad, what a wonderful and heartfelt good bye. Good byes are hard on us all. It is okay to be sad, it is a normal and natural reaction. The only thing I ask is for you to be honest and hopefully feel free enough to feel your sadness. Just remember that joy does return, even for brief moments, that when you can let joy rush back in and remember our good times. Every time you post your weekend challenge, that is something you would not be doing if we ever meant. That carries on a piece of me through you and your photographic eyes.

I wish you love and light on your current journey. With each blog I post, I will think of you.

  45. What to say? You’re right, you said so much more with photos and pictures not with words. You might recall that one of my favourite authors is Terry Pratchett. He wrote the words: ““A man is not dead while his name is still spoken.” (In the context of the discworld “Going Postal” these words were spoken about a man but of course, he meant person.) Rest assured, that your name will be spoken for a long time, even in these short lived internet times. I will remember your advice, your encouragement, your photos. And I am absolutely sure that I won’t be the only one.
