I learned to type on a typewriter like that, too, only I didn’t learn, I just pecked. I wasn’t more than 3-4. It fit into a very heavy desk and Grandma pulled it up like magic. I’m with Marilyn, though. I love the carousel. Great choices.
Wonderful choices, Cee. My great grandmother had a typewriter like that. I couldn’t wait to type on it when we would visit! I would type something on paper, then fold it up and place in her old fashioned mailbox. Then my little brother would go get it 😁
Those are great examples, Cee. The mosaic is incredible but I wouldn’t want it in my kitchen, like Becky. Perhaps my kitchen’s more off a stall than a as stable.

Fascinating. My father used to enjoy typing. I have his typewriter. It does not work .

Really great images! I am especially drawn to the carousel horse because I hold old-fashioned carousels near and dear. Beautiful pictures!

What a gorgeous typewriter. I don’t remember their being anything but black. I actually learned to type on a similar machine.

That is a wonderful mosaic Cee. I wonder if a young person would understand what “please do not type on” would mean 😀
