Just a few minutes ago, Chris looked out our back yard and she hollered at me to get my camera. Here are my first tulips in bloom this year. I love the sun.

Yeah! I want blooms but I’m just seeing blowing snow! Oh well, spring will be here soon enough. This is definitely bright, I like the symmetry inside the flower. Congrats on your first tulips.

Tuliips in February? How is that even possible? Mine are buried under a foot of snow and will remain in the ground well into April and May.

Absolutely beautiful! How long did the flowers take to come up after you planted them? Just asking because they were definitely worth the wait 🙂

They are bulbs, they just come up year after year. This is the second year for them. 🙂 Thanks Gale.

Lucky you, and what a sunshine-y delight. I have to wait 2 more months before mine are ready to bloom…

We are slowly getting some color out. But the real blooming season won’t be for about a month yet.

Wow, tulips already! In Vancouver we’ve got sun but the tulips are still just poking their green bits out – it will be awhile before I see them in my garden.

I was totally surprised these opened up. It will still be a few weeks for the later blooming tulips. But I’m thrilled.

Those are gorgeous! I can’t believe you have tulips blooming already. The tulips here are only up an inch or two out of the ground.

This particular variety only gets up about 6 inches or so. They always bloom early. I’m thrilled. 🙂
