On Sunday evening (golden hour), Chris and I went to Wooden Shoe Tulip Field in Woodburn, Oregon. It is still early in the season, but there is still plenty of color. I actually walked up a flight of stairs on a podium they have for photographers. That is me in the shadow on the bottom of the photo. ENJOY!

These are beautiful, Cee. So nice to look at. I very closely inspected a tree yesterday and not a single bud. I looked HARD! Depressing.

Love all the color! Thanks for brightening my morning!
Spring is still a long way off in the high Rockies, although it’s been warming up nicely the past couple weeks, so it looks like mud season might be a little early this year. But, Mother Nature has tricked me so many times, I don’t start getting excited about spring until at least the middle of May. (My birthday is the first week of May, and two out of the last three years it has snowed on my birthday.)

Can’t trust an early spring in the Rockies that is for sure. I lived in Denver for 25 years. 🙂
