Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: In the Distance

070716bwThis week’s Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge (CB&W) topic is In the Distance.  This week is all about taking photos of things that are far away in the distance.  If you have a wide angle lens this would be a perfect challenge for you.  Most any landscape photo would work well for this challenge.  Also if you are into macro photography remember distance is all a matter of perspective.  Have a lot of fun with this topic.  Sepia tones and selective color are always allowed in this challenge.  I just want you to have some fun with your photography.

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list at below.  Be creative and challenge yourself.  For a great black and white photo look for contrast or highly textured subjects to photograph.

  1. HI Cee, just came back from a photo walk with some friends and I just happened to have some distance shots for you.
Of yours, my two favorites ore the waterfall and the train tracks. Well done. Have a great week.

  2. I really like your clouds, Cee. Black and white sometimes enhances a photo because the image can change focus so drastically. Then again, like my photo from Plitvice it seems a pity if the colours are lost (because they are stunning, it looks like technicolor even when you’re there). A good thing, we can have both, almost with one click (give or take a bit of contrast).

  3. Just love the one of the field under all those clouds, and want to walk along those railway tracks!

Thank you so much for the feature, feel most honoured. Off now to take a second look at everyone else 🙂
