Here is my entry for this week’s Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge with the topic of Chaos. Another week that is a really tough one for me. Chaos is something I avoid photographing. One thing I do enjoy photographing though is seagulls going after food.

Oops… good eye for everything but proofreading. I meant especially, not expecially. Groan.

Interesting, no one over here would ever feed seagulls, they are pests that will try to steal from your hand and empty rubbish bins all over the street!

We were actually able to feed them by hand. It was fun. 😀

Love the texture of that driftwood contrasting with the clean lines of the seagulls’ heads and beaks!

All of these photos are wonderful, but expecially the one of the twisted wood and seagulls. The arched lines of the wood are echoed by the bends of the seagull wings. Just beautiful.

I can’t believe it. yesterday we were at Bodega Bay and stupid me made a mistake of feeding one seagull. It sort of looked like this after that. 😉

Oh I bet it did look like this. You can never just feed one. 😀

What a great approach to caos, what can be more caotic than seagulls fighting over dinner? Great photos Cee!

Seems you do like photographing chaos after all – great gull shots – a posse of gulls after your food is about as chaotic as you can get!

Even though the subjects of the photo are a chaos the composition of the photo itself isn’t. Very nice shots ! 🙂

What a perfect choice. I think real chaos ought to include a little kerfuffle, as we say it.

I like the word Kerfuffle. I might have to remember that. 😀

I have always found seagulls a little frightening exactly because of events like this.

They are harmless. We even had them eating our of our hands. All I can say it watch out for geese.

It is funny (and almost alarming) how, if you throw food to one seagull, fifteen seagulls will show up out of nowhere. 🙂

They do come fast seemingly out of nowhere.

I especially love that last one. The three seagulls on top look like they’re a natural part of the tree stump – like a sculpture you’d find in a park.
