Camellias are lovely plants. Interestingly, we had a world expert here for a while, and when he heard us call them cam-meal-ias (as we always have known them) he got most indignant and insisted that they are cam-mell-ias. Well, he has a point in that they are spelt that way.

Last I heard he was living in Panama establishing doctoral scholarships and foundations and things.
