This is the second week of my current series, which I call The Seasons and Elements. Hopefully this series will bring out our creative side with some unique perspectives and ways of looking at things. This week the topic is Summer – Fire.
After Spring we move into the active time of Summer. This is the energy of Fire, the time of activity, warmth, movement, growth and relationship. Nature itself is moving, the plants are growing, animals are getting ready to produce young and things are busy. — 5 Elements of Nature
You can take photos of anything that relates to the seasons of Summer or anything to do with Fire. If you are wondering, the sun does count as fire in this case. Have fun with this challenge. Use your imagination for this theme. The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.
Go through you photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or better yet grab you camera and take a new photo! ENJOY and have FUN.

Cee, sorry but I have lost track on the challenge … which week this is for, last week or this week???!!! That’s the question, done an entry anyhow.
Never seen a weeping cherry tree before or have I???? Yes, in Kyoto on a very wet day. Sun and dahlia fields, is my pick of your bunch.

I’m hoping I live long enough to see my weeping cherry tree grow up like yours. Mine is still just a sprite.

It was old when we bought the house. It’s my favorite. It sits outside our tv room and when it is windy it is so fun to watch it blow.
