Here is my entry for this week’s Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge with the topic of Wanderlust. ENJOY.

Just recently we went to the beach. Notice how big the driftwood trees are. They washed up over this winter.

We often travel to small towns in our area to find photo ops like this one.

Another photo of the tulip fields we recently visited.

I like the contrast in that third photo between the darkening sky and the bright tulips.

Love the flowers but am particularly drawn to that bright green tractor 🙂

The sky above the tulip field is so unreal. What a wonderful light it casts!

It was not quite the Golden hour, but with the clouds it was easy to bring it out.

Wonderful tulip field. Will they still be like that on Mother’s Day weekend?

You will need to go to the Iris Festival on Mother’s Day weekend. They open on Friday before Mother’s Day.

I would either get there early or close to closing time. Parking will be hard to get. It’s free parking too. This place totally overwhelm’s my senses. Aside from their fields, they have a 10 or 20 acre garden that is so beautiful.

Thank you for the tips. I’ll ask if my daughter is up to it. She is pregnant!!

Then I would definitely go to the peony farm. Not nearly as fragrant as the irises. When is she due?

Thank you so much! I’m sad when she is sad. She tries to keep in touch with her dad (my ex), but he is a negative person and keeps saying hurting things to her. But she is okay now.

For not quite as busy or extravagant the peonies are real pretty. That have a small gorgeous garden. And inside they have cut flowers displaying roughly 200 peonies.

The Mother’s Day trip is short and my husband comes along. The next couple trips before the baby is born, I’ll come by myself. I could make plan to meet with you. The baby shower is August 19, I may come one more time between May and Aug. We’ll keep in touch with the schedule!! I would love to take a photo trip with you!

Dahlias re in bloom in August. They are in Canby and have wonderful places to sit and talk and of course take some photos too. Whenever you have the time. I know you aren’t here for long periods of time.
