These seagulls are all wave watching. One thing I adore about Oregon is that our forests go up to the beaches in a lot of areas.
This week the topic is Birds. Your bird photos can be of any type of bird in nature, pet or even those posed birds like statues and carvings. Let’s see how creative you can we can be on this challenge. Have fun with this week’s challenge.
Go through your photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or better yet grab you camera and take a new photo! ENJOY and have FUN.

The seagulls are fascinating. You’re right, though, they look all the more intriguing because of the forest in the background. … And I was proud of one comorant in our local little river … 😉

Beautiful images Cee. And a great theme for this time of year – they seem to appear every time the sun makes an appearance in winter

Our bird feeders are fun to watch in the winter. 😀 I just had a little woodpecker on it. 😀

Good birdie shots, even the metal one. Is that a ditch behind the gulls? The sign needs a better editor.

I know I usually visit blogs too and don’t always comment. And you I saw you flying by. 😀

I love the cormorants. They like to pose, but typically so far away that I only get them when we are on the shore in the summer when they line up on the rocks … AND I have my longest lens camera in hand. But they are all lovely. The eagle is stunning, too.

I really liked your blue herons. We don’t get any red cardinals here so they were nice to see too. 😀

I love the pigeon being handfed – gorgeous, and the seagulls against the forest. Love the idea of forests meeting the beach. I’ll have to pull something special out my bird folders for this challenge!

Your metal bird had me going. I never considered it to be anything but real and couldn’t figure out the ridges on its wings..Took me a good few minutes to figure out it was a sculpture. Such a natural pose. All of your photos are very special. My photos are of common birds.. plain Janes: https://judydykstrabrown.com/2018/02/20/common-feathered-friends/

It’s a metal sculpture. 😀

I guessed that but could not decide what bird it represented. It looks prehistoric.

Beautiful Pics Cee. 🙂 I love how the Cormorants are standing together. I have tried to capture this bird so many times but the pics have never come out well. The Sea Gull looks adorable too. We don’t have them here unfortunately. Is the last Sea Gull the eldest?

If you look closely at the pigeon and the way it appears to be leaning slightly forward one could almost imagine it is about to go on tip toe. 🙂

Gulls were always going to get a mention 😉 Away games at Worthing and Folkestone in recent weeks meant I’d see lots of them! Would’ve liked to catch the Magpies in the tree for you too but they’ve only been passing through in the early gloom rather than later when there’s some light.
Love your Pigeon standing on Tippy-toes 🙂

Hey! Amazing pics! Especially the seagulls!
That Crow though! He looks like he put up the sign. “Warning! Area behind this portion belongs to me. If you dare cross, I’ll peck you until you are so badly injured..”
Okay, that was dark. Sorry.
“Hey! Look I’m a cute bird!” Thats better.

Hi Cee, delightful topic, and it took great restraint to not submit too too many birds. Your photo of the cormorants in a line is nearly iconic, and the gull spices it up. Here’s my submission https://babsjeheron.wordpress.com/2018/03/13/beautiful-great-blue-herons-alternate-reality-no-blizzard-here/
Thanks for continuing to host and share with us, Best, Babsje
