Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Trains and Tracks

This week the topic is Trains and Tracks.  This is a topic you can really have enjoy.   Let’s see how creative you can get.  I’m looking forward to what you all decide to post.  I just want you to have some fun with your photography.

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list below.  Be creative and challenge yourself.  For a great black and white photo look for contrast or highly textured subjects to photograph.

  • Any Animal (no birds)
  • Birds
  • Fire Prevention: FireTrucks, Fire Houses, Fire Hydrant, Firemen
  • Fountains
  • Signs of Any Kind
  • Benches

This challenge accepts the following types of photography:

  • Black and white photography
  • Sepia tones (browns)
  • Selective color with the majority of the photo being in black and white
  • Desaturated – very little color tone left in your photo

  1. You have real trains. Locally, we have a train, but it has no regular schedule and does not stop in this town. Boston has trains, but we are never in Boston these days. I love your trains!

  2. I like them all and many of the comments resonate for me. I’m imagining that the last photo took quite a bit of bending or squatting down…??? At least this is how my right hip sees it 🙂
