This is an exciting project Chris and I want to start. Expect a blog from me on our Cee-Chris.com blog in the next couple of days. It will be about how reading just the introduction has already changed my level of happiness and energy.
Hugs Cee
I promised you a new focus this year, so read on for what’s coming up next.
Twenty-five years ago, Julia Cameron wrote her best seller “The Artist’s Way”, a book that has helped countless people rediscover their creative selves. She recently wrote “It’s Never Too Late to Begin Again: Discovering Creativity and Meaning at Midlife and Beyond”. I’m in love with the book, because she challenges those of us who are retired, or are now “senior citizens” (what a horrible label), to awaken our inner child’s sense of wonder and creativity.
I’m telling you about the book because it includes a 12 week course in “reigniting a sense of
- wonder
- freedom
- connections
- purpose
- honesty
- humility
- resilience
- joy
- motion
- vitality
- adventure and
- faith
Wow! Doesn’t that intrigue you? It does me, and Cee. So we want to start a book club where we can all explore it…

Do you think this is appropriate for those of us not yet to the “senior” part of our life but still navigating the “mid-life crisis” portion of the journey 😉

Yes, it is appropriate. For two reasons, I’m still not considered a “senior” and I’m doing it. The second reason, we want to have fun with people of all ages. Stay tuned to Cee-Chris.com for upcoming information.

I agree with Cee, any time is the perfect time. You’ll read a lot about retired people, by like Cee you should be able to translate that into where you are in life right now. If you go over to our blog by clicking the View Original Blog link above, you’ll find an Amazon link and can read a sample of the book.

This sounds absolutely great! I have the book, but purchased it a couple of years ago when I wasn’t able to concentrate or read much (in that fog of grieving that I’ve finally emerged from). I’ll look forward to the book club.
