Here is my entry for Becky’s for #JulySquare challenge and her topic this month is #Blue.
This ship is going under the Astoria Megler Bridge, Columbia River.
Becky says:
- Your photographic square could be a ‘Bolt from the Blue’ – something unexpected or surprising
- Alternatively why not, like I have today, explore ‘Into the wide blue yonder‘ – sky, sea or maybe a location that is appealingly unknown and mysterious
- Or if you prefer keep it simple with ‘Blue‘ – whether that’s azure, cobalt, sapphire, cerulean, navy, ultramarine, indigo, or turquoise
- And if you’re feeling particularly adventurous try to combine two of these, or maybe even all three!
I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Great shot, Cee. So sorry about your cat, but what a good age that was. xx

Charlie, lived to a great age. The day before he died, he was sleeping with the dogs and his brother (another cat). He spent time with both Chris and I. The next day he couldn’t jump and refused to eat. We knew his time with us was over.

I agree that’s a big ship!
Love how you caught the lighting at the back, and also on the bridge. Hope you are having a great Thursday xx

Today has been a really good day. Yesterday, we had to put down our 21 year cat. 😦

No it was Charlie the white and brown one. Freddie is the tall orange one. We are all doing well. Missing him though.

oh Cee sending loads and loads of hugs. What a tough day you had. And what a fabulous age, but somehow makes it even tougher when they have been with you so long. Hope you both, and the fest of your animal family are coping ok xxxx

We do have lots of memories of him. We had him 19 of those 21 years. We are doing real well. Our oldest pug shows the most signs. His brother (Freddie) seems to be channeling him, so he doesn’t seem so lost. 😀

Glad Freddie is channeling him, and hugs to his older brother.
