FOTD – January 23, 2020 – Two different Dahlia Photos Today

Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts leaves and berries as well as flowers.

Dahlias come in all sizes from 1″ poms to 10-12″ Dinner Plate Size. This is a dinner plate size and if you notice the center isn’t all the way open yet, it will still get bigger. That’s my hand in the photo. See macro version of this dahlia here. The second photo is of a small pom, but I know it is not the smallest they come in.

I can’t believe they are the same type of flower, really cool, I prefer the colour of the first, but the shape of the second!

  Miss Digi is doing great. She is sleeping on a bookshelf (saved just for her) beside me. She is even starting to talk (pug speak of course) a little bit. So her throat is healing nicely. 😀
