A fun topic Cee and I especially love your image of the driftwood in the sound – it’s something the dogs and I always inspect when we see it. I’m linking my post from earlier today for this lovely challenge: https://whippetwisdom.com/2020/04/28/tanka-touching-the-season/

My photo of the driftwood in the sand would have fit nicely with your photos today.

I love the typewriter, Cee – takes us back in time a bit, but I have to say I was never a touch typer. The rose thorns are great too, and of course the bright yellow chicks gave me a smile.
I’ve gone soft and sharp: https://travelwithintent.com/2020/04/28/sharp-meets-soft-dandelion-barbed-wire-lockdown/

The chicks are simply a fun factor. I am a touch typer and extremely fast and accurate … or maybe better said “used to be”.

Watch those nasty thorns…Ouch! The typewriter is great….nothing like the feel of a vintage typewriter.

I do adore vintage typewriters. They make a terrific sound to when you are in rhythm with your keystrokes.

Yes, and their touch is so different from a computer keyboard.

There is no comparison. I learned how to type on old typewriters….way back in the 70s. I still miss the touch and sound of them.

I keep staring at the second picture. Is that trompe l’oeil? Awesome, keeps us guessing.
