This week’s CFFC topic is Urban Erosion (see Maarten Vromans). Your photos can consist of urban or suburban scenes. I live in a rather small town, so getting into a big city, I don’t do that often. I think what I really like about Maarten Vromans photos is they tell a story without being filled with a lot of clutter.

This challenge both new and archived photos are allowed. The main purpose of this challenge is to create community and get to know each other through photography.

Often much more picturesque than new structures, yet more from the outside than the inside. Great shot of that wooden wall with the peeling paint.

I took that in a neighboring town …. It only has antique stores and 200 people in it. 😀

I have thought a great deal about urban erosion as a result of your prompt. And enjoyed tremendously peeking into Maarten Vromans’ work.
Your series has such complex textures and each image has such a strong vibe. My favourite is the chimney stridently standing tall on the crumbling roof.

Oh Cee, I do like your photos this week. The cool blue colors of your first shot caught my attention but the last one with the Riverside School sign is my fav. The sign gave so much context to the picture. Well done!

That school house is now a real house. It’s small and since the building was registered as historic, they couldn’t change the footprint or looks on the outside. 😀

That must be a chore for the people living inside!
