This post is in response to Debbie’s at Travel With Intent blog Six Word Saturday Challenge.
I took this photo last week on the 4th of July. Someone used their car hood (bonnet) as a place to store their food.

Here are a couple other photos from last week. I took all these photos around 9am. People were already getting their perfect spot in the park.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Lots of people coming around your hood. 🙂 (meaning neighborhood.)

The park was full, especially for that early in the day. I couldn’t imagine what it looked like later on. 😀

It probably depended on the weather. Did it stay in the 70s-80s? If it got back up to 118, it probably cleared out! 🙂

It got into the low 90s if I remember correctly….which is about 10-15 degrees hotter than normal.

That’s pretty hot for there. The last time I went to Portland was when Randy and I drove to the coast and stayed in Newport. Portland was 97 when we left! 🙂

You must have been here in late August. We will often get a few days that hot. 😀

I think it was either late July or August. I’d have to look at my photos. 🙂
