The color palette and cooling temperatures is why autumn is my favorite season. Cee, your photos certainly illustrate the beauty and bounty we witness at this time of year. Here’s mine…

Hi Cee
I adore your lead photo! What a stunner in the way it shows the proliferation of red but with some green leaves remaining. That is exactly how the leaves here look like in their transition into Autumn. And the tunnel-like effect of your first Spring photo is an invitation for the viewer to wander into the scene beneath the branches. Lovely

This time of year — the two (or fewer) weeks we get of real foliage — is so brief, if we don’t get out and take pictures, it can be gone before you get moving!

Our autumn takes forever. We have so many tree varieties with leaves from late summer to early winter. So we don’t get the brilliant color you do, expect for individual trees.

Lovely mix of shots from both seasons Cee 🙂 My favourites are the Rag Doll and the view down the aisle between the trees in, I assume, an orchard. Here’s my entry – https://2e0mca.wordpress.com/2021/10/04/cmmc-september-autumn-or-spring/

Hi Cee
Your photo of the leaves on the ground has an immediacy that makes it easy to hear the gentle shuffling and crunchy sounds of footfalls on the leaves and smell the wonderful scent of Autumn! And I adore your lead photo.
