This week our topic is celebrating Bark and Leaves. You can post bark on a tree or any type of leaf. And like in the photo below, you can post both in one photo.

I had a marvelous response from all of you on last week’s Bare Feet and Boots challenge. I want to say thank you to each of you for joining along in my challenge. Here are the featured bloggers for this week. Their posts really grabbed my attention. They are all worthy of a second or third look.

Thank you so much for the shout-out 😀 I’m pretty sure this is the ONLY compliment my feet have ever gotten.😎
I love your third photo, the old bark on that big old tree? I have lots of leaves, but that’s great bark. I bet that bark could tell the whole story of its tree.

I’m sure bark could tell a story….if only it would talk to us. 😀

That tree is magnificent. It reminds me of a tree on my Dad’s ranch. I will see if I can find a great pic and add it to my post.

Glorious photos and good timing for us in the southern hemisphere, as it’s Autumn. If I can’t get a good photo now, I never will.

“Woof, Woof.” which means in dog language, “What a great topic and what great photos.” The underside of the tree is sure pretty, like looking through a beautiful umbrella

Thanks or I mean “Ruff, Ruff” in dog language. That underside of the tree is my favorite tree in Oregon. 😀

It’s a black walnut tree. Haven’t been back to visit for a couple of years. I hope it didn’t get hurt in our Ice storms.

It’s a gorgeous one! We had walnut trees in our yard in Visalia. We even lived in the middle of a walnut grove when we first moved to CA. I didn’t even recognize it. Ours were dusty. LOL
