Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

TODAY is the last day for Judy from Lifelessons challenge. For those of you who played along, why don’t you say thank you to Judy for starting this challenge and roping me in on her fun. It has been a fun 26 days.
Feel free to play along with us if you want. If you want help identifying flowers that start with a specific letter check out AllMyFavoriteFlowerNames.
If you don’t want to play along please just post a flower as usual.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

I would never have done a challenge that sounded like it would be hard. Not as hard as I thought it would be 😀 😀 Glad you played along Jez 😀

I love zinnias. They used to grow in the garden where I grew up, but we don’t have enough sun. Good to see them again — and so a gorgeous ruby red color!

I thought I end on with a brilliant red. 😀 😀

Great choice! I’m suffering from an excess of brilliant red this week, but I bet by next week, the colors will have all toned down. How ironic that it will be so much easier to take pictures once the colors are a little bit faded.

It will seem funny to go back to “just a flower” for the day. Although with my love flowers ….. Have a zestfully fun day 😀

You too! Well, I think it would be fun to do a flower series based on Dr. Suess’s On Beyond Zebra. Wonder if I still have a copy.

No “Z” flowers to share but you will love them, Cee. Your’s and Judy’s idea was great–I like prompts like this (prompt within a theme). Here is mine this week and sad news about my little brown dog: https://secondwindleisure.com/2022/10/09/sunday-stills-monthly-color-challenge-lava-and-memories-of-a-little-brown-dog/

Thanks for the reminder of Judy’s challenge. It went by so quickly! What an unusual perspective of the zinnia. I love the colors. Here’s mine. https://alwayswrite.blog/2022/10/09/northwest-lava-exploding-color/
