Here is my entry for Dawn’s Festival of Leaves Challenge Week 3. This is also my entry for City Sonnet’s, Colors and Letters Challenge. Our leaves aren’t changing too much yet, so these are from my archives.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

I hope your turn comes! I’m almost looking forward to being past peak so that my cameras will start to cooperate with the light and color! I love shooting single leaves. At least those pictures pretty much always come out well.
Those maple leaves are still the big winners, aren’t they!

We don’t get the brilliant colors you do for the most part. 😀 😀

This year has been unusual. One day the trees were thinking about autumn, then like a diesel train on steroids, it was OMG AUTUMN pretty much overnight. I hope winter doesn’t do the same thing!
We usually get pretty bright colors, but this year is supercharged. I think this is the most intense color I’ve ever seen — anywhere.
