Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.
Qi (energy) hugs

I enjoy your FOTD posts even more during this time of the year. Your flowers bring warmth to gray, cold days.

Oh what a nice thing to say. The next week or so I’ll be planting new bulbs, dutch iris, ranunculus, daffodils, alliums and tulips. Most are going outside, but I’m going to keep some weather small pots in the garage and bring them in end of January or early February and try and force them inside for a sneak preview 😀

How wonderful! I am not much of a gardener but have always wanted to try. Maybe next year. 😊

Bulbs are super easy if you get cold weather. Peony’s are always great too. Plant them and give them water.

So lovely a shot. Takes me back to hikes in the spring. Darn, doing it again: longing for spring again! 🙂

Same here, Maria, quite a chage. Definite cooler temperature this morn and this time to stay. Low tonight in the 20’s in the Eastern US.
