Yesterday, during day 2 of our windy frigid winter storm, a robin stopped by at our heated birdbath for a drink. I didn’t get a picture of him, but he sure did look miserable. We’re all waiting for spring up here in Michigan.

I think we have to endure a bit of winter before we can welcome spring. We had a few robins right before winter really set it. They don’t live here in the winter. They migrate south and who can blame them? I’d fly down there with them if only I had the feathers.

Yes. AND a nice villa on a beach with well-oiled attendants to bring the drinks! Not that I drink, but it’s the thought that counts.
