Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). Please use your archived photos or find some old favorite photos if you like. Feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.

Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers. To see entire list of accepted flowers, click here. Please do not submit photos of trees that don’t show colorful blooms or autumn colors. Leaf close ups are always welcome.

Nothing new growing outside yet, though my son has pointed out we can buy some new bulbs and regrow the flowers. I suspect that because of the drought, animals ate everything — bulbs, flowers, everything. Meanwhile, there is the indoor garden and I am very grateful.
I so envy you your tulips and other things growing for you!

My tulips I let harden outside. I brought in a few smaller pots that I planted so I can force them to grow early inside. I have some daffodils inside too. But they don’t have buds on them yet 😀

It is still early in this part of the country, though it has been springtime warm, but maybe the flowers are on a timer and don’t flower by temperature. I guess we will see.

I think the trees are considering blooming; the pollen is up. My eyes feel like they are full of sand. I’m hoping some flowers pop out of the soil soon.

Tulips are not spectacular but so nice to see. Here is my FOTD link as I’m not sure pingbacks are working. https://horseaddict.net/2023/02/20/fotd-the-bottle-brush/
