FOTD – April 30 – Daffodil

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  Please use your archived photos or find some old favorite photos if you like. Feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. 

We’ve had a few new daffodils this year, and this one is my favorite type.

Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers. To see entire list of accepted flowers, click here. Please do not submit photos of trees that don’t show colorful blooms or autumn colors.  Leaf close ups are always welcome.

  31. The way this is photographed is excellent, love how the whole flower is not pictured, it draws the mind to the rest of the garden it must be in, and I have never seen one like it either. Thank you so much for sharing this, it made me happy.

    • It’s their natural color. Hybrid’s like this are made from combining two different daffodil bulbs and they create this beauty. The salmon has been around for a long time.
